Chemical Peels

At Northside Dermatology, we offer several low-downtime chemical peels. These peels affect only the outer layers of the skin. Recovery is quick and side effects are uncommon. These are frequently referred to as “lunchtime peels” because patients can return to their daily activities right away. There is little or no noticeable peeling.

Mask Peel

Acne arises when oil and dead skin cells become trapped in the skin’s oil-producing glands, triggering bacteria growth and inflammation. Mela Peel

TCA Peels

TCA peels are formulated with trichloroacetic acid, a derivative of acetic acid that can be customised to a variety of applications and strengths. TCA peels penetrate deeper than glycolic or salicylic peels, making them a good choice for women and men who want to address more advanced signs of ageing, acne scarring or pigmentation issues. This is a custom peel that can be used alone or in conjunction with radiofrequency treatment.
