Biography:

Dr. Felmingham graduated with Honours in medicine from Monash University. She spent her intern and residency years at Monash Health and the Royal Darwin Hospital. Before undertaking specialist dermatology training, Dr Felmingham worked as a vulval dermatology fellow at the Royal Women’s Hospital, as a research fellow at the Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre at the Skin Health Institute, and as a fellow at the Victorian Melanoma Service at Alfred Health.

Dr Felmingham completed dermatology training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Skin Health Institute, Northern Health, Austin Health, and Monash Health.

In addition to private practice, Dr Felmingham now holds a consultant dermatologist position at Northern Health, where she is involved in the education of dermatology trainees and junior doctors.

Dr Felmingham completed a Master of Philosophy Research Degree in skin cancer research with the Monash University School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She has multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and has presented research at national and international meetings.

Dr Felmingham enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, paediatric dermatology, women’s health/vulval dermatology and skin cancer detection and management.

Please note: Northside Dermatology operates as a facility supporting dermatologists. While the clinic handles administrative tasks like scheduling and billing, doctors independently manage their patients and clinical decisions. This setup establishes a contractor relationship, where doctors are not employees but partners in providing healthcare services. Additionally, doctors have the autonomy to choose their working days, times, and fees, and they may also offer their services at other locations. Patients have the right to access their clinical notes and discuss the most suitable location for consultations or treatments with their doctor.
